About Tarmacadam

When compressed the broken stones are held together by the tar giving the look and finish of a long lasting and highly durable tarmacadam surface.

The material of tarmacadam consists of tar and broken stone and naturally is a dark coloured, bituminous material that can be laid on almost any surface with the right preparation. The area to be tarmaced is fully prepared, the tarmac is laid and then compressed for a nice smooth surface.

Overdrive Systems can lay a new Resin Surface directly laid over your existing driveway surface. 

Resin surfacing is suitable for both inside and outside areas.

Resin is ideal for Driveways, Door Steps, Paths, Patios,

Swimming pools; garages; conservatories.

Two methods of application:
1.  Resin Bound stone surfacing.
2.  Resin Bonded stone surfacing.

Resin Bound - The system is mixed on site and cold applied, using a high-quality clear resin binder to coat the aggregate particles prior to laying.

Resin Bonded - This system involves applying a film of resin to the surface, on top of which clean, dry aggregate is scattered; completely covering the resin.
